Live portrait activations
I paint expressive, whimsical portraits of your guests on the spot. It’s an interactive piece of programming that pulls a room together — and everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind favor with your event’s name on it.

An activation people actually queue up for
Live guest portraits give people a reason to talk to each other. With a fine attention to detail, my style celebrates each guest’s personality and self-expression — so the line at my table becomes its own little moment in the room.
At the end of the night your guests walk out with a painting instead of a tote bag: a party favor nobody throws away. Live portraits work beautifully for brand activations, corporate events, and private parties.
What booking me looks like
- Setup
- I arrive early to set up. I bring all of my own supplies — the only things I need from you are a table and a chair.
- Time on site
- I’m available for 3–5 hours of on-site painting, and can paint up to 5 couples or 10 guests per hour, which accounts for transitions between portraits.
- How it works
- I photograph each guest and paint from that reference, so nobody has to sit still. Guests swing back by my table before the end of the night to collect their portrait.
- The finished piece
- Portraits are painted on high quality archival paper and packaged in a protective sleeve. Choose monochrome or color; your event name or logo can be added for an additional fee.
Pricing & booking
Every event is different, so every quote is custom. Email me at Nataliesimsquek@gmail.com — or use the form at the bottom of this page — with your event date, location, and expected guest count, and I’ll come back to you with availability and a quote.
What guests take home
A selection of portraits painted live at past events, in monochrome and in color.

Put your name on it
For an additional fee I add your event name or logo to each portrait, so every piece your guests carry home is quietly branded. Portraits are painted on high quality archival paper and go home in a protective sleeve.
You can also choose whether the portraits are painted in monochrome or in color — tell me about the room and I’ll help you pick.
Beyond the easel
I speak your brand team’s language
Before going full-time as an artist I spent six-plus years in corporate and nonprofit marketing, brand design, and digital communications. Briefs, brand guidelines, approval rounds, a run of show — none of it is new to me, and it means an activation with me is one less thing for your team to project-manage.
I also take on icons and branding assets as a standalone service, and custom illustration for gifts, invitations, and client thank-yous.
